Celestial Being
The world of Gundam 00 takes place about 300 years into the future. In this time, there is no more solar power from the sun so the world powers are having massive battles over the solar power from generators.
This is where Celestial Being comes in! Celestial Being is a group that very actively opposes any form of war. That doesn’t mean that they are docile in their approach. Instead, they are willing to do whatever it takes to get their message across to the world powers. Many of the actions that Celestial Being take part in are quite fierce.
While the Gundam Meisters are the most active part of Celestial Being it is actually a large organization that has many people working for them. These people generally work in the background to make life easier for the Gundam Meisters.
A man named Aeolia Schenberg started Celestial Being. He is the one who is deeply invested in getting Gundam units to defeat the world powers’ militant actions. He advocates using a strong hand to do whatever it takes. Since CB is not a very subtle force there are many people who disagree with their actions.
In fact, Celestial Being has groups that hold protest rallies against them. The government leaders have even gotten involved by using the military. Even terrorist groups regularly try to stop them. These groups often beat down Celestial Being, but they always manage to find a way to come out ahead. They aren’t in it to win a popularity contest, they are on a mission to end the wars in the world and they know what it takes to get there.
Even so, Celestial Being keeps plugging along with their mission to stop the wars in the world. That doesn’t mean that they are all singular in their goals. The Gundam Meisters were quite surprised to see new Meisters arrive in the form of Team Trinity.
These new Meisters actually hacked into Veda, making the original Meisters very suspicious. This has even led the four originals to take whatever measures they think possible, regardless of whether it fits in the Celestial Being plan. It’s almost as if they aren’t sure who to trust.
Despite the ups and downs, Celestial Being stays true to their mission. When the powers of the world and certain terrorists take things too far they are forced to take things into their own hands. The original Gundam Meisters are the truest members of this mission, determined to succeed.
