Gundam 00 Story

The Gundam 00 story takes place in the future when all fossil fuels are gone. In this year 2307 A.D. the population depends on solar energy alone. Since solar energy is now such a precious commodity, there is a lot of conflict surrounding it.

There were three orbital elevators built to generate more solar energy and they are each controlled by the major world powers. These powers are the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations (USA), the Human Reform League (Russia, China, and India), and the Advanced European Union.

This system should have worked out evenly but there are some countries that are left out in Gundam 00 due to the three major powers taking over. Those that are left out of the benefits of these solar generators are very bitter. Of course, this led to war and other conflict.

There is a group called Celestial Being who does not like all of this war. They have decided to stop the wars by using Mobile Suits, which are called Gundam. Gundams are humanoid machines to combat threats. It is the hope that Celestial Being can stop all of the war and lead to a better solution.

There are four Gundam Meisters or pilots. They are named Setsuna F. Seiei, Lockon Stratos, Allelujah Haptism, and Tieria Erde. These pilots are brave as they fight the three powerful groups that are controlling the solar energy.

The Celestial Being group seeks to use Gundams to stop these higher powers. There is a saying in the series that “Rebirth begins through destruction.” The Meisters will stop at nothing to eradicate the wars that are going on.

Setsuna was recruited into the Celestial Being group when he was age 12. The group takes their mission very seriously and is willing to stop at nothing to recruit the best and the brightest. He has a troubled past and believes that peace talks are worth nothing and that direct confrontation is the way to go. He is willing to risk his life for the mission that he believes in.

Lockon Stratos is another pilot who is in Celestial Being. He despises terrorism and wants to eradicate it. Others look up to him because he is the oldest in the group. Tieria Erde is another of the Meisters on a mission.

Allelujah Haptism is yet another interesting character in the Gundam 00 series. He has two personas one being Allelujah and the other being Hallelujah. Hallelujah is particularly violent and menacing.

Gundam 00 is made up of great characters and even better storylines. The world is in turmoil with the three major powers taking over the available energy in the world and it is up to the Meisters to stop the wars.
