Gundam 00 Veda
The Veda is a supercomputer that is essential to the Celestial Being Meisters and the whole Gundam 00 world. However, Tieria Erde is the only one out of all the Gundam Meisters who is able to access computer Veda. There are a few other characters that are not a part of CB who are able to access Veda as well. It is fascinating that this computer plays such a large role in the Gundam 00 series, and there is a good bit of mystery that surrounds Veda.
Tieria Erde takes his role of accessing computer Veda very seriously. It is interesting to note that when he is interacting with Veda Tieria’s eyes begin to glow. It is thought that this eerie glow means that Tieria has successfully connected.
Tieria can also activate Nadleeh with Computer Veda. In fact, Tieria must interact with a Veda terminal when he is on the main Ptolemaios. Tieria has almost ultimate control over all of the important information. There is some information that comes in via video feeds from Veda cameras.
The Veda computer also contains the TRIAL system. This TRIAL system is stored on Nadleeh. Since all the Gundams are connected to Veda, Tieria is able to control the Gundams that belong to other characters.
One of the biggest problems in the Gundam 00 world are the Trinity Meisters. They are connected to the Veda system so Tieria was able to shut down two of their Gundams. Throne Eins and Throne Drei were no match for Tieria!
All is not always well in the world of Veda. Tieria lost control to Level 7 information in Veda. What is even worse in this case is that Team Trinity was able to maintain their access. It was Livonse Almack who hurt the Veda system since he has the ability to access Veda as Tieria.
Tieria is lost when he is not able to access Veda. At one point his efforts led to Virtue being disabled. This is bad news for the Gundam and Tieria as Patrick Colasour is able to attack Virtue with a beam saber. Tieria does manage to avert this danger, but he grows very worried that since Veda was hacked they would not be able to complete their mission.
There are many theories as to why Veda is so important and what Veda’s story is. It is almost like the computer system is sort of an overseer, or at the very least an incredibly important function, without which the Meisters would be lost.
