Gundam Strike HG – Flat Sprayed

September 28, 2008 – 3:56 pm Posted in My Gundams

I decided to spray it today. I used flat coat by Tamiya. The clips you see are aligator clips, which I put on bbq sticks. The aligator clips are used to clamp the parts, and the sticks are used to hold the part at a distance, so you won’t spray it on your hand. Enough with talk, here are some pictures! I also have some videos, but I’ll upload that later. Also, I did not remove the seam lines. However, I might take this one apart so that I can show you guys, but, normally, you would want to remove seamlines first, and then spray a flat coat.

Overview of all the Gundam parts drying.

Here’s a close up of the head, I was too lazy to sharpen the v fins.

A close up of the body. The flat coating really stands out in this picture.

Top view of the body, and another picture bring out the flat coat.

Reassembled my strike.

Look at my strike posing in my garden :D

Strike, ready to fight!
